Silverton is a small nice enough city in Marion County, Oregon, United States. Silverton still, is the place with charming streets and old buildings solid in their late 19th century dark red brick and eclectic exteriors of the early 20th. Silverton is in the Willamette Valley, 1-1/2 hour drive from the coast.

The sunset over the coast range was so beautiful.

In silence sealed. The human heart has hidden treasures, In secret kept, in silence sealed. Charlotte Bronte.

Our beach trip with Abby and Bonbon.

I imagine it is wonderful over at the beach this evening.

Michael and me against the brick building is in Portland.

In Ann’s yard in Bend, Oregon. She is the woman with gray hair sitting right next to me (I am in black pants and white shirt). Her sister Sue is next to her. The other older women on the left are my cousin Timi and Jennifer, who is married to Ann’s brother. The young women are daughters of Ann and Sue, and the little girls are the granddaughters.

It is a strange thing to see the changes in oneself when looking through years of photos!

What a huge surprise to find a sampling of my photos here, Phivos! I don't know how you spliced all this together but it sure is fun to share a bit of my part of the world. Silverton is in the Willamette Valley, 1-1/2 hour drive from the coast. You remind me that it is certainly time for us to take the dogs over there for a day.
Many thanks for being such a kind friend.

I loved the photos of Lydia's Oregon. My husband and I have often talked about visiting this part of our country. We've been to Seattle and all through California but not Oregon. It looks beautiful.

Debbie
