Full of ethusiasm we have well returned from Japan. It’s great and you have to see it. Sometimes you think, that we are living in the middleage. It’s so clean, well organized, cultivated, the people are so polite and respect each other, and they combine tradition with hightech-life.

Kyoto with a 1.200 year history, is a city in the central part of the island of Honsu, Japan. It was Japan’s imperial capital from 794 to 1868. It has a population close to 1.5 million people.

Nishi Honganji is the head temple of the Honganji faction of Jodo-Shin Buddhism with over 10,000 subtemples across the country and 200 temples overseas.

Nishi Honganji houses several national treasures, has been designated an UNESCO world heritage site and is considered the more spectacular of the two Honganji temples.

Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion Temple) is the informal name of Rokuon-ji (Deer Garden Temple). It was originally built in 1397 to serve as a retirement villa for Shogun Ashikaga Yoshimitsu and then converted into a temple.

The Golden Pavilion, or Kinkaku, is a three-story building and the top two stories of the pavilion are covered with pure gold leaf. Kinkakuji is one of the most famous in Japan.

The pond in front of it is called Mirror Pond. There are many islands and stones on the pond.

Kiyomizu-dera ("Pure Water Temple") is one of the most celebrated Buddhist temples of Japan. It was founded in 780 and is added to the list of UNESCO world heritage sites.

Not one nail is used in the whole temple.

Επιστρέψαμε από το ταξίδι μας στην Ιαπωνία κατενθουσιασμένοι. Είναι υπέροχη χώρα και πρέπει να τη δείτε.

Μερικές φορές, κάνοντας συγκρίσεις νιώθαμε να ζούμε στον Μεσαίωνα. Υπάρχει τόση καθαριότητα, οργάνωση και λεπτότητα. Ο κόσμος είναι ευγενικός και υπάρχει αλληλοσεβασμός. Η ζωή συνδιάζει την παράδοση με την υψηλή τεχνολογία.

To Κιότο είναι πόλη της Ιαπωνίας με πληθυσμό 1,5 εκατομμύριο κατοίκους. Πρώην αυτοκρατορική πρωτεύουσα της Ιαπωνίας από το 794 μέχρι το 1868, είναι σήμερα πρωτεύουσα της Περιφέρειας του Κιότο στο κύριο νησί της Ιαπωνίας, Χονσού. Μείζονα πόλη στην μητροπολιτική περιοχή της Οσάκα. Κιότο σημαίνει "πρωτεύουσα πόλη".

Απολαμβάνουμε πρώτα, το σύγχρονο πρόσωπο της πόλης με τα μοντέρνα, όμορφα κτίρια.

Το Kinkakuji είναι ένα από τα πιο γνωστά μνημεία της Ιαπωνίας. Το χρυσό περίπτερο ή ναός κτίστηκε το 1397 ως ησυχαστήριο ενός Σογκούν και μετατράπεηκε αργότερα σε ναό. Αποτελείται από τρεις ορόφους και οι δυο είναι καλυμμένοι με καθαρό χρυσάφι.

Το Χρυσό Περίπτερο βρίσκεται σε ένα καταπληκτικό κήπο με λίμνες.

Ο Βουδδιστικός ναός Kiyomizudera ("Ναός των καθαρών νερών") είναι ένα από τους πιο 'εορτάζοντες' ναούς στην Ιαπωνία. Οικοδομήθηκε στα 780. Το 1994 συμπεριλήφθηκε στον κατάλογο μνημείων παγκόσμιας πολιτιστικής κληρονομιάς της ΟΥΝΕΣΚΟ.
