Halkidiki's amazing coastline of more than 550 km has a lot of beauties and many stunning beaches of clear blue water. The scenery is gorgeous and of course there are a lot of things to do and see apart the sun and the sea.

The village of Nea Skioni is situated at the south-west end of Kassandra's peninsula and is far of almost 110 km from Thessaloniki.

This traditional old Greek village was built at an enchanting and of rare natural beauty landscape.
The village's harbor is one of the largest in the Peninsula, where loads a lot of fishing boats.

Strolling in the port area with fish-houses which are tempting.

New beautiful houses expand the village.

In Nea Skioni there are numerous tavernas, restaurants, clubs and coffee shops.

There is a great contrast between the old fishing boat at the wharf and the modern condos on chore. Looks like an interesting village.

I noticed in the picture with the new houses expanding the village, two green trash bins which are identical to those in use in Israel.

I wish we had also some of the more beautiful things that characterize the village of Neo Skioni, such as the beautiful landscape, the harbour and the pictoresque boats and fish houses.
