Magnificent Protaras

The resort of Protaras is an amazing tourist resort with many beautiful beaches and pleasant surroundings. Is one of the best on the East Coast of Cyprus. Protaras is a very popular holiday destination on the island of Cyprus.

The Fig Tree Bay is a lovely beach of exceptional beauty. The deep blue colour of the sea water together with the evergreen inland make a fantastic picture. This spot is ideal for all kinds of sea sports. It is visited by thousands of people and the location is full of restaurants, cafes and other shops.

In Protaras area the visitors will find many beaches which are equipped with sport facilities of every description. The beaches in the area are among the cleanest and safest in the Mediterranean. One of these beautiful sites is Fig Tree Bay (photo).

The famous 'FigTree Bay' one of the Meds most famous of beaches. Golden soft sand and crystal clear terquoise waters await you. With a great range of water sports including, Parasailing, Jets kiing and many more including rentals of pedalos. The area is also fantastic for snorkelling.

Protaras has been awarded the coveted EC Blue Flag in recognition of the fine quality of its beaches. Protaras beaches are golden with crystal clear turquoise blue waters and stunning scenery.

Η παραθαλάσσια περιοχή του Πρωταρά είναι ένας καταπληκτικός τουριστικός προορισμός με απίθανες αμμουδιές και φυσική ομορφιά. Είναι ένα από τα καλύτερα τουριστικά θέρετρα στην Ανατολική ακτή της Κύπρου.

Ο Πρωταράς είναι ένας από τους πιο δημοφιλείς τουριστικούς προορισμούς στο νησί. Οι παραλίες στην περιοχή είναι από τις καθαρότερες και τις πιο ασφαλείς στη Μεσόγειο. Μια από αυτές, είναι και η παραλία Φικ Τρι Μπέι.

It does look fantastic! We just returned from Halkidiki today and I can never take my eyes off of the aqua waters. The photos of the beach are great! I can also bet that many travelers may go to Fig Tree Bay in search of the blonde bombshell:)

Mediterranean kiwi. Maria, I am sure Crete has similar lovely beaches. Cyprus and Crete are part of beautiful Mediterranean sea!

Cheryl, welcome back from magnificent Halkidiki. Protaras and Ayia Napa are those too coastal sites with sandy and golden beaches very similar to Halkidiki! Are my favourite places and we spend a lot of weekends there, enjoying the crystal blue waters, which sometimes look like a pool!
Regarding the impressive bombshell, have in mind that the Fig Tree Bay is a real blonde 'bomb bay':)
