Η παραθαλάσσια περιοχή του Πρωταρά είναι ένας καταπληκτικός τουριστικός προορισμός με απίθανες παραλίες και φυσική ομορφιά. Είναι ένα από τα καλύτερα τουριστικά θέρετρα στην Ανατολική ακτή της Κύπρου. Ανήκει στο Δήμο Παραλιμνίου και την πόλη φάντασμα της Αμμοχώστου.
