I was brought up in Northern Germany in a small town called Bremen (population around 600.000). I met my Greek husband right after I finished High school. He had a job as obstetrician gynecologist and senior physician in a hospital in Bremen...

The City Municipality of Bremen  is a  Hanseatic city in northwestern Germany. A commercial and industrial city with a major port on the river Weser.
Bremen is the second most populous city in North Germany and tenth in Germany.
Bremen is still one of the most important cities in northern Germany. (Photo: Playing with mud must be the greatest feeling in a child's world).
Together with the city of Bremerhaven on the North Sea, it forms Germany's smallest state.
Bremen has a more than 1200 years of history.
Cycling in the city, is a great way to become intimate with a city and get exercise at the same time.

Lovely, traditional homes in a fabulous family neighbourhood, known for its charming parks and beautiful trees.

Athens is the capital and the largest city of Greece

It’s one of the world's oldest cities and its recorded history spans around 3,400 years.
Rich history and culture through out the centuries.
The city's name is related tο the name of the ancient goddess Athena.

Goddess Athena, dressed  with her armor. She was the Goddess of the City, the protector of the civilized life. In poetry she is the incarnation of Wisdom, Reason and Purity.

Traditionally painted blue chairs and a little table against a white wall, with a gorgeous flower pots  outside of a house.
 A beautiful flower pot.

Awesome blue Mediterranean Sea.

The Greek islands are noted for the variety and beauty of their numerous and impressive sea caves.

A young Greek mangas. (The nearest English equivalent to the term mangas is wide boy or spiv).
Adorable charming identical twin. You two look exactly the same. I'd swear it's like two moons stack on top of each other!
This little girl was posing with such grace in a small village in Syvota, North West from Greece...
I adore the summer in Greece although I miss the winter in Germany!

I see this country with the eyes and criticism of a German and feel with the heart of a Greek woman!

Monika's love for two cities in different countries on the background of personal Love & Marriage, is warming the heart.

She's got an eye for details, hence the beautiful pictures in this post.
