Tara Bradford is an American living la vie Parisienne since 2001. Currently she is writing a novel and working on two photography books. A former newspaper and television reporter and Middle East correspondent, Bradford is a freelance writer, poet, photographer and author of the Paris Parfait weblog. Her photographs appear in the 2008 edition of the Blue Guides book "Art/ shop/ eat Paris." Her photographs also appear in the February 2009 issue of The English Home and in Chez les filles, Paris.
In 2008, Paris Parfait has been the focus of study for two courses at universities in Georgia and Arizona. Paris Parfait has been featured in The Seattle Post-Intelligencer, The Albuquerque Journal, Crooks and Liars political blog, CNN.com, Univision.com, Redroom.com and Open Salon, as well as numerous other websites. Paris Parfait was featured in the Women, Power and Politics online exhibition at the International Museum of Women.
All photographs by Tara Bradford were taken with a Sony Alpha DSLR-A350, a Nikon D80 or a Konica-Minolta Dimage.
Bradford closely follows politics in the US, Europe and the Middle East and is optimistic about changes coming with the election of Barack Obama.
Bradford enjoys searching for antiques and collectibles in brocantes and flea markets of France, England and Spain. She has been known to sell the occasional treasure, for want of space in her bijoux Paris apartment (and to make room for her next discovery).
Bradford has lived in New York, San Francisco, Santa Fe, London, Paris and Amman, Jordan. She has studied Spanish in Seville, Spain.
