Alberobello is distinguished worldwide for the small limestone and stone buildings with conical, pyramidal or domed roofs, which are known as Domes. "Domes" are constructions with the art of dry stone in the region of Apulia, i.e. with the traditional building technique without any binding material.
Το Αλμπερομπέλο διακρίνεται παγκοσμίως για τα μικρά ασβεστολιθικά και πέτρινα κτίσματα με κωνικές, πυραμιδικές ή θολωτές στέγες, τα οποία είναι γνωστά ως Τρούλοι. Οι «τρούλοι» είναι κατασκευές με την τέχνη της ξερολιθιάς στην περιοχή της Απουλίας, δηλαδή με την παραδοσιακή τεχνική δόμησης χωρίς κανένα συνδετικό υλικό.
